Hels Cat Care

I have 5+ years of cat care experience. I guarantee that I will care for your cat with the utmost dedication, as if they were my own.

I appreciate that every cat is different – it’s so important to me that I understand your cat’s preferences and boundaries. I look forward to hearing from you!

My service

I can provide once or twice daily visits. Each visit will last at least 30 minutes.

My care will include:

  • Feeding ~ wet and/or dry food
  • Litter box scooping ~ and a full change if needed
  • Cuddles ~ if your cat enjoys these!
  • Playtime ~ whatever your cat’s favourite game may be

If you or your cat has any specific requirements or requests, please don’t hesitate to ask – I will do my best to accommodate, where possible!

Before I look after a new cat client, it is important we have a meet & greet – please see FAQ page for more information.

My pricing

2 visits per day – £19/day

Payments for bookings will be taken via ‘Stripe’. A 50% deposit is required to prior to the start of the booking & the remaining 50% must be settled on or before day after the booking ends.

About me

My name is Helena. I am 29 years old and from Edinburgh. I moved to Sheffield in 2024.

I am a massive cat person – the kind that MUST say hello to any cats I see!

After the devastating and unexpected loss of my own cat Frasier in 2024, I found I had a paw-shaped hole in my heart. As I had recently left my civil service position due to poor health, cat sitting seemed a natural choice of work to make sure I still got to spend time with some lovely cats.

I began cat sitting in May 2025, initially using the Cat in a Flat & Pawshake pet sitting platforms, and have had the pleasure of caring for 30+ cat households in Sheffield (as of Feb 2026).

In addition to my own wee boy Frasier, I have also previously homed and loved 3 gorgeous foster cats.

Alongside cat sitting, I am in the final year my undergraduate degree in sociology, which I study part-time and remotely via the Open University.

My interests outside of cats include hiking, photography, knitting, and digital organising (yep – spreadsheets are my jam!).
